Best Tasting Spirulina Smoothie

Some swear that the best tasting Spirulina smoothie must include fresh mint or mint essence, since this is something highly personal, I’ll drop a few more suggestions and let you find out!

Instead of mint some people prefer to add some lemon or lime juice to the smoothie, especially when mixed with vegetables like avocados, tomatoes, celery etc.

If you prefer to mix Spirulina powder with fruits, especially mangoes, bananas, pineapples or apples, a hint of lemon adds a refreshing touch too.

Creamier smoothies usually contain coconut milk or any other creamy cereal or nuts’ milk and are usually blended without lemon or lime.

An exception is perhaps the piña-colada Spirulina smoothie which has a hint of lime in it.
